Tune-Up
45 minutes. Quick Reset.
WHO IS IT FOR?
This treatment is ideal if you’re feeling tight, stiff, or generally run-down through the upper body. It’s perfect for people who carry tension in areas like the neck, shoulders, chest, and back, whether that’s from training, long hours at a desk, or day-to-day stress building up in the body.
The Tune-Up is designed as a shorter, effective reset. It’s a great option if you want to feel looser and move better, but don’t need (or don’t have time for) a full 90-minute session.
Rather than focusing on one specific injury or spending long periods on a single problem area, this treatment delivers a balanced approach across key problem areas to leave you feeling refreshed and rebalanced.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
A Tune-Up session combines a range of proven manual therapy techniques, these include:
- Cupping (wet & dry) to promote circulation and reduce muscle tension
- Deep Tissue Massage to release tightness through the upper body
- IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation) to improve tissue quality
- Joint Mobilisations to restore movement and reduce stiffness
The treatment focuses on key problem areas, including the lats, triceps, biceps, pecs, traps, and lower back, where most people hold the majority of their tension. It’s designed to give each area effective attention without spending extended periods on any single spot, keeping the session flowing and well-rounded.
We also offer a cardiovascular (CV) screen at no additional cost, as part of your treatment, if requested. This typically involves simple, non-invasive checks such as blood pressure and resting heart rate, along with a few relevant health questions to ensure your treatment is safe and tailored to you.
This screen is included because many people rarely have routine health checks, and conditions like high blood pressure can often present without obvious symptoms. As you may visit the clinic more regularly than you would a GP or other healthcare provider, this provides an additional opportunity to identify potential concerns early and support your overall wellbeing.
If any findings fall outside of normal ranges or raise concerns, you will be advised accordingly and may be referred to your GP for further assessment before continuing with treatment.
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
Each Tune-Up session includes 45 minutes of dedicated, uninterrupted hands-on treatment time.
Your full session is reserved exclusively for manual therapy. Any additional time needed for notes, preparation etc. is built in separately, before the next client, so your treatment is never cut short or compromised.
sound good?
If a Tune-Up sounds like something you need, then why not go ahead and book a session.
