FAQ'S
General Questions
How does your clinic differ from other clinics?
We combine manual therapies (e.g., mobilisation, IASTM, cupping) with exercise rehabilitation, unlike other clinics that often focus solely on a single modality.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No – private patients can self‑refer.
Who can benefit from your treatments?
Anyone with joint pain, stiffness, soft-tissue issues, chronic muscular tension, recovery needs after sport or surgery, or requiring functional rehabilitation.
What should I expect during my first visit?
Your first appointment includes a consultation to understand your health history, a physical assessment, and initial treatment if appropriate. We’ll also discuss your goals and create a personalised plan moving forward.
Are your therapists qualified?
All our therapists are fully qualified and insured. We regularly undertake professional development to stay up to date with the latest treatment techniques.
Do I need to be injured to come and see you?
Not at all. Many clients visit us for preventative care, posture correction, stress relief, or performance optimisation—even if they’re not in pain or injured.
How often should I come for treatment?
This depends on your goals. Some people come weekly for rehab, others monthly for maintenance. We’ll guide you based on your progress and needs.
What if I'm self-conscious about body image or injuries?
We ensure professional, respectful treatment. Clothing and draping preserve dignity. Open communication is welcomed.

Treatment FAQ's
Is treatment safe?
Yes. All techniques used are evidence-based and safely applied by trained professionals. We’ll always explain any risks and ensure you’re comfortable before proceeding.
What types of pain do you treat?
We treat a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, sciatica, sports injuries, and muscular tension. Whether your pain is from injury, posture, or overuse, we’ll identify the cause and create a personalised plan.
Can you help with poor posture or postural imbalances?
Yes, we assess and treat common postural issues like rounded shoulders, forward head posture, and anterior pelvic tilt. We combine hands-on therapy with corrective exercises to improve alignment, reduce strain, and enhance long-term posture.
How do you help with sports performance?
We work with recreational and competitive athletes to enhance movement efficiency, prevent injury, and support recovery. Treatments like deep tissue massage, joint mobilisation, and IASTM can improve flexibility, muscle activation, and performance.
Do you offer rehabilitation after injury or surgery?
Yes. We support recovery post-injury or post-surgery (e.g., ACL, rotator cuff etc.) with structured rehab programmes focused on strength, mobility, and function.
I work at a desk all day—can you help with work-related posture issues?
Absolutely. We often treat desk-based clients dealing with neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. We’ll address muscular imbalances and offer ergonomic advice to improve posture and reduce strain.
How quickly will I see results?
This depends on the issue, but many clients notice improvements within 1–3 sessions. Chronic or complex problems may require longer. Your therapist will discuss realistic goals and timelines at your first appointment.
What if you can’t help me?
If progress stalls or your condition requires specialist care, we’ll refer you promptly.
